Spanish clay specialists Rafael Nadal and David Ferrer found it all too easy in their matches as Ferrer cruised to a devastating 6-0 6-3 win over Filip Krajinovic, while Rafa Nadal blitzed Guillermo Garcia-Lopez 6-1 6-2.

Australia are sweating over the fitness of two crucial backs ahead of their upcoming Test series against Wales. James O’Connor and Quade Cooper are both struggling to recover from injury in time for the series in June, leaving head coach Robbie Deans now forced to wait and see if his two most creative players will be available to him.
