Impressive Murray Progresses to 3rd Round!
It is fair to say that there isn’t much of an expectation of Andy Murray being successful in the clay season, as we know the Brits best chance of success this summer is at Wimbledon. But the world number four has looked impressive so far in the Monte Carlo Masters.
Roster Expansion
It was only last month that the NFL owners tabled a variety of changes to the League rules and regulations and one of those changes was the expansion of offseason rosters from 80 to 90 players per team. We thought that might take some time for the league to consider but then the NFL made a very surprise announcement much quicker than anyone had expected that the change had been ratified by the NFL.
Minnesota and the #3 Draft Pick
It’s pretty much a done deal that the #1 and #2 picks in the draft are set in stone with Andrew Luck and Robert Griffin III sure to disappear to the Colts and Redskins respectively, so the draft dilemmas surely start at #3 where the Minnesota Vikings hold sway.
Draft Sleepers
Tom Brady is usually held up as the archetypal draft “miss” or “sleeper” – someone who has the potential to play far higher than their draft stick or numbers would suggest. Now Brady barely made it into the top 200 in his year, coming in at #199 overall and well, you have to say that to say that things have worked out rather well for the New England signal-caller.
Draft – The Top Two Picks
Well we all know that the way that the top two picks are going this year – Andrew Luck will be off to Indianapolis to join the Colts and Robert Griffin III, or RG3 as he is better known will be taken off the draft board at number two by the Redskins. So just because Luck goes before Griffin does that mean he’ll have a better career – certainly not, here’s a look at several cases from recent years when the secondary pick as outperformed or matched the top pick in the draft.

When you decide to take a raise line in a game of poker there are only two reasons why. The first is to raise for value, meaning that you believe you have the best hand and are hoping for a weaker hand to call – called raising for value. The second is to raise with a weaker hand in the belief that a better hand will fold – called raising as a bluff.
